Funnel Analyzer Terms of Use

Last Updated:

These Funnel Analyzer Terms of Use apply when you access or use the EcomExperts Funnel Analyzer. By using the tool, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not connect a Google account or use the tool.

1. Purpose of the tool

The Funnel Analyzer provides an informational, aggregated view of selected GA4 ecommerce funnel activity and compares calculated rates with fixed EcomExperts benchmarks. It is intended to help merchants and authorized representatives identify areas that may warrant further investigation.

The report is not a guarantee of performance, revenue, conversion improvement or business results. Analytics implementations, consent settings, event configuration, attribution, sampling, thresholds and data quality can affect the report.

2. Authority to connect a property

You may connect only a Google account and GA4 property that you are authorized to access. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the tool and the connected data complies with your obligations to the relevant merchant, organization and users.

Do not use the tool to access another person’s or organization’s data without permission.

3. Read-only Google access

The tool requests the analytics.readonly permission. This allows it to read the GA4 information needed for the report but does not permit it to modify or delete GA4 data or settings.

You may disconnect at any time. Access is also subject to Google’s terms, availability and authorization rules.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the tool, attempt to bypass its security, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, use automated methods that create unreasonable load, misrepresent the origin of report results or use the tool in violation of law or another party’s rights.

5. Privacy

Our handling of information is described in the EcomExperts Privacy Policy. Google’s handling of account authorization and Google services is governed by Google’s applicable terms and privacy policy.

6. Third-party services

The tool depends on services supplied by Google, Shopify and other infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for outages, changes, restrictions or errors originating from third-party services.

7. Availability and changes

We may maintain, modify, suspend or discontinue the tool or any feature at any time. We may update benchmarks, calculations or presentation as the tool evolves. We will not intentionally alter historical source data in a user’s GA4 property because the tool has read-only access.

8. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the tool is provided “as is” and “as available.” EcomExperts disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You are responsible for reviewing the accuracy and suitability of the report before relying on it for business decisions. The tool is not legal, accounting, tax or financial advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, EcomExperts will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data or business interruption arising from use of or inability to use the tool. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
